I just wanna do smokey make up as natural and soft as possible...?

I wanted to try smokey make up on the prom day! with just simple eye liners can it be done? or are there many stuff to use..?

p.s: i haven't done any make up before..I just wanna do smokey make up as natural and soft as possible...?
Stay away from eye liners if you want a natural look. On the lid,add your color and in the crease, use a shade that is darker and apply along the ridge of bone. Blend it in til you have the look you want.I just wanna do smokey make up as natural and soft as possible...?

have a friend who wear makeup on a regular basis help you out. try using shades of brown, it'll be noticeable but not harsh
go to the makeup counter at a major department store anf they'll show you how to do it. do this way before prom and practice ahead of time so you don't end up looking like a clown. smokey make up usually looks slutty. why not experiment and do something classier?

On many episodes, Carmendie does the smokey eye look, and it always ends up beautiful! you could get a visual step-by-step by watching her. :)
Well that is the smokey eye look. It's VERY easy to do, don't be fooled. First, Line your eyes with a liquid liner on top and pencil liner on bottom.

Then take your darkest color and use with any angled brush on the outside corner of your eyes extending slightly above the crease.

Then, the your 2nd darkest color and use on the the inside corner and BLEND (key thing is blending) with the dark color.

Finally take your lightest color (lighter the better) and use above the brow bone and blend the connecting lines for that smooth effect.

And then curl your lashes BEFORE applying a nice black mascara! (You may need to redo your liner a bit when done to make sure your eyes pop! :)

I hope that helped!
