Guys only! Do you like girls with make up or natural? Explain?

For the smart guys...

Do you like it better when girls are make up free or cake faced?

Do you notice them with make up or natural looks?

Does it really matter?

PS. Sorry, I had to ask in men's health. No guys visit the make up section haha.Guys only! Do you like girls with make up or natural? Explain?
obviously for long-term relationships all guys want the girl who needs little make-up but if you can get a complete hottie who requires two hours to go anywhere well if thats what it takes then whateverGuys only! Do you like girls with make up or natural? Explain?
It depends, if you are going from one extreme to another, caked in make up to natural then I prefer natural! If they are caked in make up they look like slappers and sluts, sorry ladies but you do, it's disgusting!

A little bit of make up is good though, mascara and whatever else there is!

I think if you always wear abit of make up and then one day go for the natural look you probably wont be able to pull it off because you then look washed out from normal and people ask if you're ill. Where as if you had the natural look all the time you would look good!

Hope this helps

Sam (a Londoner)
I'm 17 %26amp; my ex-girlfriend is 16. She wore quite a bit of make up %26amp; it really bothered me; I didn't like being in public with over eyeshadow girl, it was annoying when we kissed, because make up got everywhere. I've always been attracted to natural girls, if I can be natural, why can't they? A little bit of make up is ok.

Also, I notice %26amp; pay attention more towards natural girls, they look than the OD make up girls, which is good :)
obviously a caked face looks horrible on anybody. if you can pull off no make up then you are amazing. all in all, wearing make up doesnt matter unless there is something to hide (like a blemish).
Well i like with-out

because if they wear makeup it means they are insecure about the way they look

If the don't if means they are confederate
It depends..some makeup looks good

But some girls make themselves look like clowns with makeup

I usually like just a little
i agree with kyle
Most young girls (say, up to 20) are so naturally pretty that they look lovely with hardly any make up. The same goes for the way you dress - simple and natural usually looks gorgeous.

Yes it does matter - anything artificial makes it difficult to establish a relationship. If you feel insecure about your own judgement, ask the advice of a friend whose appearance you admire. Even ask your mum or dad, if you get on well with them. Mums are often extremely good at choosing clothes that suit their daughters - they've been through it all themselves!

Natural looking make-up!?

My school is really annoying. If they can see slight ';too-much'; of make up, they will give you a wipe and take it off. After using the wipes you look like a zombie woken up and having to go to lessons and carry on for the rest of the day is awful. I have never been told to take my make-up but my friends have, and no offence. But, wow. LOL! So, I was wondering is there anything you guys know of, like slight foundation and stuff, but is there any tips you can give me when putting my make up on? Less is more.

Thanks! :)Natural looking make-up!?
Have a clean face that has been toned and moisturized.

Conceal your dark undereye circles, by gently rubbing concealer into your undereyes using a rolling motion.

Conceal other areas of the face that is prone to redness, such as the creases of your nose, and your chin.

Now, apply the mineral based foundation. Remember to get the jawline and neck. I

Fix your eyebrows if you need to, and apply eyeliner on the ONLY THE TOP part of your lids. I do not use eyeshadow when I want a natural look.

Curl and apply mascera.

I like applying blush last.

Some lip color.Natural looking make-up!?
Try shading and contouring, that looks very natrual, there is a video on youtube where XsparkageX teaches you how to do this.

Also try a tinted moisturizer, it is lighter than foundation. Get this from either Ulta/Sephora or a department store counter to get the closest match to your skin. If your makeup blends seamlessly with your skin it won't look like makeup. Also countouring just makes your cheekbones look higher, when blended well, it looks natrual also.

Try to stay away from any bright shadows or dark smokey eyes for school. Don't use eyeliner. Use a tinted mascara vs. a volume one, try Neutrogena's lash tint. It tints your lashes a dark color and looks SUPER natrual. If you MUST use eyeshadows stick to alll neutral colors with no shimmer.

Good luck!
I don't like wearing a ton of makeup either. And I have green-blue eyes. Mineral powder is really great! I put on a liquid foundation by Covergirl. Then I put on a little blush by Maybeline, not too much, just enough to bring back the natural look after I put on the foundation. Lastly I put on a teeny bit of mascara to make my eyes pop. Good luck!
Use a tinted moisturizer for your face.

Use neutral colored eyeshadow, but avoid dark browns.

Use brown mascara, and maybe a little brown eyeliner if you want.

White eyeliner will open up your eyes.

You can also use a clear lipgloss if you wish.

I found that eyeslipsface.com had plenty of natural makeup products, and it's cheap too.
just wear a bit of mascara but don't make it really thick or clumpy and put a light foundation on. Cover girl clean makeup is good. and lip balm

Does any1 know of a make up for oily skin but looks totally natural?

i have been using an all in 1 make up(foundation and powder) from the body shop for a while, but i want one that looks really natural like im almost not wearing any( i heard about mineral make up but apparently its very mixed). i have oily skin so i use pressed powder and that helps a little. does any1 know of any? dont mind the name or picture, its my brothers accountDoes any1 know of a make up for oily skin but looks totally natural?
all you have to do is buy LOREAL make up. then use 1 shade darker than your neck.

believe me it will look natural. just one shade darker than your neck.

How can i do the natural look with make up?

links please, and also how to's are coolHow can i do the natural look with make up?
minimize - concealer/powder (don't worry about using foundation unless your skin is blotchy), a thin coat of mascara, and a soft hint of blush plus some sheer lip gloss with a slight tint to it.

this site has how-to's for every kind of makeup imagineableHow can i do the natural look with make up?
Well first you always want to start with your face,

First Cleanse tone then moisturize its very important to do that before and after wearing makeup.

if you cant spend too much money here are great products to use i will put them in order. and some hints too.

Okay for the face you want a light foundation with a matte look.

http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a>

use a make-up sponge for this if trouble finding one ask someone who works in the department for the proper color for your skin. this is great for dry and oily skin (no shine)

now a neutral eye shadow

http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a>

now a brownish black eyeliner but only your top! the underline may look a little too much.

http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a>

Now your mascara a dark brown would be great.

http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a>

now a light blush but very little.

http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a>

now after all this use a good lip balm before lip gloss or stick.

lip balm:http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a>

lip stick that is very light you dont want to look over done you sound pretty.

http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a>

then a clear lip gloss.

http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a>

remember less is more... sort of lol.

at the end of the day before bed or so use this its great.

http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a>

then cleanse, tone and moisturize :D

hope i helped.
The idea is to keep a neutral palette while adding a bit of color to the face. If your skin is pretty fair, stay in the pinks and nudes family, and if you skin is medium or dark you can go in the golden family.

Here's a typical make up that you could easily recreate.

1. Exfoliate and moisturize well - the key to natural makeup is glowing skin, so starting out with a good canvas obviously helps.

L'Oreal Happyderm makes your skin really glow :

http://well.ca/brand/loreal-happyderm.ht鈥?/a>

2. Get rid of all imperfections. With a concealer stick, cover up blemishes and dark circles. Blend well.

Rimmel Concealer :

http://www.rimmellondon.com/US/products/鈥?/a>

3. Apply a tinted moisturizer with your fingers to make your skin really look flawless. If you need more coverage, go for a mousse foundation. The key is to really keep it light otherwise it defeats the purpose of ';natural makeup';.

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse

http://www.maybelline.com/Product/Face/F鈥?/a>

4. Now bring on the colour! Add a pinkish blush to the apples of your cheeks, or a warm bronzer if your skin is darker. I go for mineral loose powders and apply them with a large brush, it looks really natural. Blend well and brush a bit of the leftovers across your forehead, chin and nose for a healthy look.

Covergirl TruBlend minerals:

http://www.covergirl.com/products/produc鈥?/a>

5. Polish up your look with a coat of matte pinkish balm and soft black mascara.

Jane Be Pure Mineral Lip Balm in ';Pink Quartz';

Jane Hi Fiber mascara in Soft Black

http://www.janecosmetics.com/productDeta鈥?/a>

There you go! The key is really just to bring out your natural features without piling on makeup. I hope this was helful! According to your taste and needs, you can skip or add steps...for instance, if your skin doesn't require concealer and foundation, just a good moisturizer and blush can be sufficient!

Good luck sweetheart!

Annaliese xxx
Don't wear a lot of it. Pick natural colors like browns and gold. Stick to just black mascara that doesn't make lashes too long, or they start looking fake. Stick to nude colors and clear lip gloss or chap stick.
go to pursebuzz.com

she has how to videos for all beauty

its a great site

she also recommends products and does product reviews
Cleanse the face with a proper cleanser.

If needed use a foundation as colse to the skin color as possible.

Use minimal Cheek color in and earthy tone.

Earthy tones eyeshadow and little mascara in you color.

Light pink or nude gloss!

Good luck!

What make up should i use with a natural light photo shoot??

I'm taking some natural light shots and was wondering if there's a specific makeup I should use to look better any tips please??What make up should i use with a natural light photo shoot??
I have been told and I have read somewhere that MAC foundation is good for photographs ....I am not sure which line of foundation but if you go to this website and click chat with an artist you can ask them and they will tell you which of their foundations do well in photographs .....I know that several people that are makeup artist have told me that MAC is good for photos ...and if you live near a MAC store or counter ..I would go in and have them apply it and see what you think before I bought it.... but I would chat with an artist on this site and see what they say ....

Hope this is helpful~~~

If you are thinking about using Bobbi Brown . I think they have a online chat as well. Here is their website and it is at the top for Live Chat ...

And Smashbox offers Live Chat as well.....

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer. It is natural, but evens the skin tone, and is specifically made for photographs.
you should wear something neutral but pretty. something that will catch the light and bring out your features. don't do anything dramatic though, it'll come out looking like too much.
remember to not wear too much. Anything you put on will look brighter, bolder and darker. You don't want to look like a clown. I would go with light natural looking makeup ans maybe pastel eye color and gloss
Laura Mercier or Smashbox. Both are photo-friendly, made for work in any light and look very natural.

How do i achieve that natural look w/ make up?

i dont think im ugly im a side profile but when u look at me in the front, i think im ugly. i want a natural look so i wont wear so much make up cause my mom dont lk 2 buy me some only 4 her.How do i achieve that natural look w/ make up?
all you need is a nice light foundation that matches your skin tone; follow this by using a little blush on the apples of your cheeks and a coat of mascara on the eyes. For the lips just stick with vaseline, as its moisturising and not sticky, and gives a nice shine too your lips.

stick to the colours that suit you, and always remember that less is more.

xHow do i achieve that natural look w/ make up?
To have a basic natural look with makeup, the answer is to use as little products as possible and the products you do use have to already enhance your existing features. The basics to go for are a good coverage foundation to replace a concealer so you don't use too many products. The foundation will make your skin look fresh and flawless. For eyes, go for a black eyeliner even though it's not natural, it will make your eyes stand out without even using mascara, which all tend to flake somehow and smear. Curl your eyelashes to make your eyes seem bigger and a little bit of a rosy blush which goes for every skintone to make you look like you're not dead, especially if you're really pale. Go for a light pink to a peachy-pink lipgloss, or my favorite, a lipstain which gives your lips color without making you look like you're wearing anything or too made up. Once you're done, you'll look beautiful without looking overdone.

  • Natural looking make up?

does anyone have ways to get natural looking make up, but to make my eyes stand out ? i kinda wear A lot t of make up, and its starting to bug g me, im trying to go for the cute natural look now, because i am pregnant, i don't wanna be looking like a whore, i want to look natural and pretty at the same time :)

but if you have other cool pretty looking ways of doing make up, please let me know :rememberr i am blue eyedd blonde hair

****attach pictures if you can please !!! :)

i have blue eyes, blonde hair

if so can you attach a picture of what you mean ? so its easier to understand, also what colours best suite blue eye'd blondes.

also any tips on applying mascara to your bottom lashes ?Natural looking make up?
Apply a eyeshadow a little darker than your skin color. Put this eye shadow on from your bottom lashline all the way up to your crease.

Get a dark brown a put this in your crease.

Use the lighter brown color that you used and blend the dark brown. Just make it look a little lighter.

You can use green eyeliner, if you want fun look, or purple if you are tired to make you look more awake.

Chocolate brown is great for brown hair and blue eyes because it doesn't wash you out, but still lets your eyes pop.

If you have any questions about any other make up tips, or looks. Or what products to buy...or anything lol.

Email me audapricot@yahoo.com, or aim: wthbanana.

Oh and you're pregnant? I'm 15, and couldn't imagine being pregnant.Natural looking make up?
-brown pencil eyeliner (only if you actually like it, I didn't wear eyeliner until I was about 18, never got the hang of it until then)

    -shimmery taupe eyeshadow

    -brown mascara

-pink lipgloss without sparkle (it makes you look older, of course, you're 15, if you want sparkle go for sparkle)

    -very pale pink blush

-foundation/tinted moisturizer (although you're at the age where it's really optional)

-pressed powder for touch-ups (get 'translucent' - it's the palest shade available)

    That's natural.

But for more fun, you can switch out the taupe eyeshadow and brown eyeliner for whatever color you want. But because you're pale (so'm I), try to stay away from neon-looking colors (softer versions of the same color, are, of course, just fine), they tend to overpower our faces. And try to choose 'shimmer' over 'glitter.'
You don't want to look like a whore?

    You're fifteen and pregnant. . .
lol i love using maybelline naturals its my favorite its like your not even wearing it! you should definitely try it.

    Natural looking make-up? send pictures?

I'll be visiting family in Texas in a week:)

but i love it:) so can you send me pictures of ideas? where you can tell i have some on but it looks light and pretty. natural too.

I have brown eyes. with a green tint.

hair...well it looks brown sometimes. then blondish other times. with a red tint. sooo yeah haha.

    Thanks%26lt;333Natural looking make-up? send pictures?
so, are you saying that you wear too much? just lighten up on the makeup. if you're nervous about it, don't wear eyeliner or dark lipsticks.Natural looking make-up? send pictures?
Try a tinted moisturizer, it blends and evens out the skin while moisturizing and is so thin that it is literally unnoticeable.

When using eyeliner, stay away from black and unnatural shades.Try to use brown or charcoal grey instead and blend slightly to create a natural line.

Stick to just a transparent gloss for your lips and let your natural color shine.

    Hope this gives some ideas.

go to that pic. wat do u think of that look???????
just wear foundation, a light blush tint, and mascara.

That's all you need. Your a cute girl.

One more thing. Tease your bangs and here's a picture. Just tease it up so you get alot of volume. So we can see your face more.

http://www.hji.co.uk/hjimages/images/qhs鈥?/a>Natural looking make up ideas for school? PIX!!!?
    1. Buy a tinted moisturizer to use as a foundation, look for one specifically that says it covers up redness.

    2. Get a mineral powder to keep your skin from looking oily, I know maybeline sells them.

    3. By a brown mascara

    4. And then an eyeliner that has kind of a red/ruby tint, like the exact eyelights from Covergirl

    5. Neutrogena makes this great lipgloss, I forgot what it's called but I'm sure you will see it. Get it in a nice pink color.
Use a sheer coverage foundation and some loose translucent powder to remove shine. Use black mascara on your top lashes only. You have great cheekbones, so use some pink blush on them. Use a small amount of brown eyeshadow only on your lid, not past the crease. Apply it with a cotton swab for a very natural look.

What do you think is sexier: make-up or natural?

i feel sexier when i have some makeup on, but i tend to get more compliments from my husband when i don't have any on...lol.What do you think is sexier: make-up or natural?
I'm going to say both can be sexy. Wearing makeup doesn't mean you have cake it on to look sexy, a little is all you need, and some women look great with no makeup at all. What do you think is sexier: make-up or natural?
I think make-up sexier. Natural is cute.
light natural-looking makeup thats not colorful or anything
I like to use makeup that looks fairly natural.

    So...natural looking makeup.
just a little bit of makeup is really hot

just do some mascara, colored lip gloss, and a teeny bit of eyeliner
Well I would day. natural for the day time, make up for the evening or special occasions (makes you stand out)
Natural, take it from a guy, we hate girls that wear lots of make up
Natural-looking makeup is the best. =]
Natural because girls do not cake their faces.
makeup. as long as you don't pile it on. lol. some people forget that makeup is to accentuate..
i find using very little makeup is more appealing.. however, if you can use eyeshadow that complements your eyes as well as matches what you are wearing, that is good too. :]
Make-up makes a lot of girls look way prettier.
    Natural make-up
make up- I look like the crypt keeper w/ no make up lol
i think make-up makes most girls prettier. but not too much. the trick to wearing makeup is to make it look like your not even wearing it.

    Natural looking make-up?

I have homecoming coming up and i want to look the best i possibly can. i am trying to find a natural looking make-up that is not too heavy but still can cover up acne scars, bumps, and keep my face from looking so shiny. i was wondering if any of mineral make-ups can do that. btw i am a medium toned african american. i also have a very hard time finding a make-up that is actually my skin tone, and that doesn't make me look drained. i am looking for a foundation that will make me glow ( not literally :) ) does anyone have any good suggestions of make-up brands that are available any where in the united states? and if they have a website, could you please also add it? no rude or mean comments please! thanks!Natural looking make-up?
I have found good foundations at both clinique and perscriptives t-- they match, look natural, have a bit of luminescence and don't make me look ashy. I would say skip estee lauder, they don't have my skin tone there! Look for one of those foundations with the light reflectors and your skin will look great! Have fun. Oh and if you want to improve your tone, try the skin renew serum. It really works! It totally killed my dark spots and random breakouts, my skin is looking better than ever since I started using. (I am 30, and most people think i am about 19-22!) . Natural looking make-up?
Hey get yourself to an estee lauder counter they have heaps of makeups, i suggest double wear because it covers blemishes but looks natural and it stays on really well. They have the best selection of shades to suit any skin tone. Goodluck!
You might like the bare minerals, if you live near sephora, they can teach you how to do it and find the right shade for you!

You can get good coverage with it, but it still looks natural and fresh!
(im using my boyfriends name but i would love to help out!)

What is real beauty? The models we see on TV, are they natural or is it just make-up?

a lot of those people on TV are UGLY without make up!!

Like, Kim Kardashian...she is a perfect example! What is real beauty? The models we see on TV, are they natural or is it just make-up?
Real beauty is accepting yourself for who you are and how you are. A person who is ugly on the inside cannot be helped by a pretty exterior. The models we see on tv. Some are natural but a lot of the time it's make up. Pictures are often air brushed. Don't compare yourself to everyone else. Real beauty comes from the inside. =)What is real beauty? The models we see on TV, are they natural or is it just make-up?
real beauty is being comfortable with the person you are inside and in your own make up free skin

the models on tv are all people who are trying to be beautiful so go through hours of make up and training and styling to look how they do

before anyone thinks theyre no way near as beautiful as celebrities are take a look at this

    http://seehere.blogspot.com/2006/08/cele鈥?/a>
I think that all models are beautiful...in their own way, just as people are..

They are just airbrushed and have so much make-up on,it's ridiculous...You have girls trying to live up to an image that doesen't even exsist..All those women are attractive, like i said..but they don't look like the airbrushed ';perfect';pictures we all see.

    They are human.

everyone has a different idea of what beautiful is.
    real beauty...hmmmmm.

tv and magazines is airbrush and makeup.

but everybody around me tell me im perdyful.

:/ and i wear no makeup watsoever.

and everybody thinks im gunna become some great model,

because i walk straight and look pretty.

its really the true face that should be perdyful.
obviously, you haven't seen the magazines of these so called ';beauties'; without their makeup....i think real beauties are far and few between....remember, that stress, heridity...etc, etc all play a part and unless you have flawless porcelin skin and gorgeous eyes, it isn't happening...at least not without some makeup
real beauty is not an anorexic made-up 16 year old who chain smokes- its someone who's confident and nice and pretty in her own right. someone beautiful hasn't had so much plastic surgery she feels like a rock- but she doesn't necessarily wear no make up. just what she does in life and how she goes about things and her attitude to life makes her beautiful.
Beauty is all natural . Models on tv so not natural...
all those models pretty because of makeup ...for many of them, when they without make up, their skin too bright..sometimes look like ghost..this info i got from a model's friend and i saw before. they look good after make up...

real beauty is natural..but some people would say tha is out-dated instead!!!

  • How come no one wants natural beauty? Why do they rather make up?

Because pop culture has taught us that is the only kind of beauty. It sucksHow come no one wants natural beauty? Why do they rather make up?
because our world is materialistic and vain. Pretty much sums it upHow come no one wants natural beauty? Why do they rather make up?
because of the stupid media, look at all those models. w/ their ';flawless skin'; teenage girls go through changes, which is where the pimples and zits and all these imperfections come out, so they immediatly go to the cosmetics section and by eyeliner, mascara, concealer, and all these things so they can feel better. its not that they dont want it its just that no one notices them if they do have the natural. they need something that makes them stand out.
because we live in a world were you can have your body custom made.....%26amp; i'm not saying I support that actually I hate that .... sucks to know also that nobody wants an over weight girl
its really rare to see someone that thinks they look pretty without makeup

people think if they put just on some eyeliner and eyeshadow it will make them look better and yes sometimes it does but i think natural beauty is so much more beautiful than make up

i mean and makeup just ruins ur natural beauty
    i like natural beauty.

i dont wear even an ounce of makeup (unless its for dance)

people always compliment me because im so pretty and i actual dont wear makeup AT ALL..

i would if i could ( my parents wont let me until im 16 because they believe in the natural beauty thing )

so i would if i could but it also takes up time... which im not very patient....lol...

if i had my own makeup artist i would let her do it for me tho..

    lol
And in some ways, a lot of gals might like make up because they associate it with being an adult.

As such, it can make them feel better about themselves and thus, more attractive to the guys.
i hate makeup, i even worked in a beauty salon for 5 years. i did just fine, i like myself for who i am not what people see. however that being said, well, its not all that easy. this world is very materialistic. you have to be very self confident and not care to go very far, career wise. i think everyone is just way to self-conscience. make up just make a dirty face, granted when i go out to clubs, or such i will add a touch of make up just to enhance, but not glob it on.
because if you want to look beautiful lets say for a special occasion then you wouldn't go without makeup and some people want to look their best artificially but natural or not they are both beautiful!!!!
bcuz you have to born with natural beauty some girls like myself just arent that lucky so we HAVE to use meakeup to look good
I don't wear any makeup at all and I'm in my 20's. I was never really into makeup and people actually think I'm wearing makeup when I'm not because I have really great skin and deep pink lips. I think I look more beautiful without makeup and I don't need to try hard to look good.
Well, there are lots of natural looking makeup styles, it's just that many people who aren't looking or trying hard enough.
Some girls wear make up to cover up acne. I know, when I was going through that awkward stage, I wore make up all the time because I was self conscious about my skin. Now, I'm 18 and only wear make up on special occasions, because it makes me feel more dressed up.

However, I have a friend who loves make up. She doesn't wear it to try and feel better about herself, but just for the fun of it. She works at Mac Make up and loves her job.

But, everybody loves natural beauty. Every girl is pretty in her own way, with or without make up.

Do guys like Girls that wear make up or are all natural?

so completely natural or like mascara?

any imput guysDo guys like Girls that wear make up or are all natural?
boys like natural if not no makeup at all.

    trust me

i know this boy who its really cute and every time i met him i was wearing quite a lot of makeup, and he never said anything about the way i looked.

but one time i met him and i was wearing just a few dabs of foundation and a coat of mascara and he told me he looked fit.

so it goes to show boys really like the natural look.

    plus i know a girl who thinks shes soo pretty putting pounds and pounds of makeup on and all the boys say to her ';sort your face out you look dirty';

she wears LOADS of foundation. one day she's orange, one day shes yellow or pink, she wears hideous blusher BRIGHT BRIGHT pink,

and she wears thick black eyeliner on her eyes, and she uses liquid eyeliner top AND bottom (very bad for your health) and wears full on white concealer on her lips.

her skins colour is very pale and her face is orange and the rest is white like paper.

shes a state and no boys like her but she thinks theyre all over her.

    so anywayyy

boys like natural babes xxDo guys like Girls that wear make up or are all natural?
Boys are going to say that they do not like makeup but they are idiots.

They usually cannot tell when a girl wears makeup, so if they can tell, that means the girl is using the wrong colors or not blending it in properly which just looks bad, period. (If you do not believe it, just try an experiment. One day wear foundation, bronzer, blush, eyeliner, mascara, and lipgloss but blend it lightly and make it look natural and ask if a boy if you have too much makeup. Then the next day, put on nothing but a bright orange lipstick and ask someone if you have too much makeup. Twenty bucks says most people do not even realize you are wearing makeup with the first look but think you have way too much with the second look).

But to answer the question as simply as possible, guys like makeup, but they like natural looking makeup, not bright colors, powder flaking, or any of that other crap.
First of all, I am not a guy, but have something to say on your subject.

It really shouldn't matter what they like. You are the one, who is wearing it.

For the most beautiful women, other than when acting or whatever, you will find they want to have that natural beauty allure.

You should experiment with makeup and find how you want to look and go for it.

In all my beauty products and especially perfumes, I have found that using less is always best.

And last but not least, the quy will usually tell you if he doesn't like something.
If I were picking between the two, I'd pick natural--just so I'd recognize the person I'm waking up next to. (Seriously now.) The best look is one that is light on the makeup. You do use mascara and maybe a lipstick that is close to a natural color. Maybe some eyeliner or a little eye shadow if you have pale skin that hides your features. But not a painted face.
nah...make up can look bad when too much is on. just put on VERY little. natural beauty is the ****

You look gorgeous either way, so I think whatever you like. (:

Well you don't seem to wear load of make up (and you definitely don't need much anyway, because you're quite pretty) so I think they both look really nice.Natural or make-up better?
    natural(:

you're such a beautiful girl you don't need makeup at all! you look fabulous with natural makeup and you're extremely lucky for that, i think the eyeliner in the first picture takes away from that. so my vote is second picture

    hope this helps!(:
Im sure your aware there are techniques/looks you can do

    with makeup to look natural

    depending on your age

    skin

    blah blah

you should only wear makeup to enhance features

    wear it light

    and wear it properly
not in an insulting way but i can't tell the diffrence

i see in the make up picture you have some eyeliner

but thats the only diffrence with makeup

maybe because you edited the picture

    but thats a good thing

you dont pile on gawd aweful makeup
    either.

    youre really pretty!

How to apply make up so that it looks pretty natural?

What to use etcHow to apply make up so that it looks pretty natural?
If you have uneven skin then use a foundation that is your skin tone (bring someone along with you or a mirror, make sure the store has a good return policy). Make sure it's hypoallergenic and oil-free. Liquid has the most natural coverage, and Covergirl is known for their products. Rub on clean face in fast, circular motions, blending at edges. Wear powder on top to soak up oil

Now pick your best facial feature. If it's eyes, buy an eyelash curler and mascara. Brown if you have lighter hair, black for darker hair. I have Maybelline Vibrating mascara ($13) and LOVE it. Make sure it's waterproof.

Some women like eyshadow. If so for you, pick a color (natural-looking; pastel or flesh-toned) that makes your eyes stand out. Do one light layer from lash to brow, another layer on lid only, and a touch more in the crease. Gold/silver looks great on all eyes colors.

Eyeliner is great. Brown is best for a natural look. Any eyeliner works for me so long as it's waterproof. Dot it along your lower lashes and rub it a bit to blend, then draw a thin line from the middle to the end of your upper lashes to make your eyes look bigger naturally.

If your feature is lips, get a lipstain (Covergirl has a great one in a pen form). First line your lips with it, then fill them in with the broad side. Add a balm on top to make them soft, a clear gloss if you want.

If your feature is cheeks, you need two types of blush. A cream blush (Maybelline mousse blush is great) and a powder (I like Lorielle). Take a small dot, smile, and apply to middle of cheek. Blend upward toward temple. Dust lightly over it with the powder blush.

Thats pretty much it =) sorry it was so long. How to apply make up so that it looks pretty natural?
try to find your color in foundation and apply on all your face.if your want to wear a eyeshadow try a light brown or a sandy color.Blush doesnt have to be hot pink just a pink color and apply on cheek bones by saying ohhhhh....and if your planing to wear mascara make sure it doesnt look clumpy.then you can put eyeliner on but not inside your eye (because the liquid inside your eye makes it ruin down) put it over your lash line.

with a little lip gloss and your done...
use shimmery neutral eyeshadow-Physician's Formula ';baked collection'; in baked sugar.

use a brown liquid eyeliner on your upper eye lid, and a brown eyeliner pencil on your inner bottom lid.

    mineral powder foudation

and a coat or two of black mascara. finish with some lip gloss or shine and viola!

    I would use

    tinted moisturiser

    a little grey eyeshadow

clear lip gloss or lip balm

    mascara
    I would use:

    mineral powder

    a soft brown eyeliner

    mascara

    lipgloss

Does make-up ruins your natural look, if you wear it too much?

And when I mean ';too much'; I mean daily.Does make-up ruins your natural look, if you wear it too much?
My advice to you is: don't wear a lot of makeup, all you need is a good moisturizer to make your skin glow, a pencil eyeliner to accentuate your eyes and a lip gloss to soften your lips.

I'm sure you've seen girls who've literally painted their faces, who are they trying to fool? Sooner or later they'll have to reveal what they really look like without makeup. And, imagine how shocked people will be seeing them without their masks.

And, don't let TV or magazine advertising mislead you, they are done to sell products, no one in real life should use that much makeup, unless, of course, for people who're in show business.Does make-up ruins your natural look, if you wear it too much?
depends on what you use....i use mineral makeup, and my skin actually looks better naturally after using it...but if you use stuff bad for your skin, then yes.

Please give the reason behind your choice. POLL: Make-up or natural? Guys, what looks better?
natural, no make up or very little. too much makeup makes a girl look slutty and cheap, and it makes girls look old. natural beauty really shows, makeup kind of covers it..POLL: Make-up or natural? Guys, what looks better?
    Natural all the way.

  • Is i better for a girl to wear make-up or just do the natural look?

i want to kno becuz some of my friends wear alot of make-up and i dont ........so alot of people question me about y every else does and i dont!Is i better for a girl to wear make-up or just do the natural look?
I think it depends on your looks really.

Some girls need it, and some don`t.

Some need just a touch of make-up, subtly applied.

But most men do not like to see a lot of make-up on a girl.

It`s ok to use tho, if you are going out for the night.

You obviously need to tart yourself up then, it`s part of the fun.Is i better for a girl to wear make-up or just do the natural look?
none none none, i think girls who ware it have some weird perception that guys find it attractive when we dont, using makeup just makes you look lifeless and cheap, the reason that girls who wear makeup get loads of attention from guys is because they just look easy and attract all the guys who want to use them, if you wear no makeup you will attract popper guys who dont want to just use you
go you! it drove me NUTS in middle school when everyone just caked on as much black eyeliner as they possibly could! but i would have some fun with a little bit of make up. like simple shimmers and clear or simple mascara. play it up and see what you like =]
    a bit of both

i wear full makeup but natural looking

i dont wear a ton of eyeliner just some soft coloured shadows and a pale blush and concealer.

i do try and wear loads of makeup sometimes but i end up looking worse!
Dont get pressured into wearing makep like your friends. It will kill your skin!! The natural look is so much prettier! after all, why should you put CHEMICALS on your face, in order to make yourself ';prettier';?? It just makes you look like a clown! The natural look is better :)
Get this link how to apply natural makeup and it will easily help you

    I hope helped.
I would say, as a guy, you have to find a ballance. Too much is ugly and too little is ok, but you can enhance your beauty with a little make up.
natural look.. i put make-up as ';hiding'; urself.. its just a cover-up of someone ur not and someone u want to be. I dont wear make-up, i dislike it wit a great passion, but everyone else i kow wears it..
boys opinion: most idiots will say that they want natural but girls look more pretty with some makeup than none at all, however I suggest you don't overdo it with makeup
If you're comfortable natural, then that's awesome. At least you won't waste your money/time on makeup or won't get wrinkles :)
Of course even if a girl is unpretty, she can look better using make up. Make up is a need for girls and i'm sure you will look more pretty using make up. :)
it depends where shes going to if shes going to a club some make up is nice and if shes going to work or lunch with friends she can use make the one that hides all the scars the zits etc......
natural look , definitely!! a little gloss or kajal is ok.girls who put loads of makeup on their face just end up making their face look pancake-y
    guys prefer a natural beauty.
Natural is peculiar and unique believe in it. All the best.
I think a little bit of make up is alright. Too much just looks cheap.
    Do not overdo it
    Yes.

Which kind of make up products should i use 2 look natural but pretty?

i like putting make up on but i don't want overly do it. i hav medium colored skin.Which kind of make up products should i use 2 look natural but pretty?
Bare Minerals, Bare Escentuals, MAC, Smashbox, Bobbi Brown, LancomeWhich kind of make up products should i use 2 look natural but pretty?
Bare Minerals is the best. Once applied, you can barely feel it! It really leaves a natural glow that lasts all day.

    http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?鈥?/a>
smooth minerals by avon. for the lips, you can try glazewear liquid lip colour and glimmersticks lip liner also by avon.
Mary Kay. Cover Girl, are the two I choose for myself

I recently changed to using Bare Minerals (I ordered them from t.v.) and they are WONDERFUL! But very expensive.
try the Loreal Paris Bare Naturale powder.

its really soft and comes in different shades to fit your skin tone :)

and MAX Factor has some really cute eyeshadows that aren't too dark.

And i use Cover Girl eyeliner. in black or brown. its good too

    :)
Bare Minerals! It's awesome :) You can get a starter kit at Sephora to try it out
    Check you Laura Mercier's Flawless Face Kit on www.sephora.com it has all the basics to a ';flawless face';
    i use bare escentuals/bare minerals

    they work really well and there little slogan thing is ';make-up so pure, you can sleep in it';

and you actually can because i did it once...haha i know. its just light and doesnt clog your pores and crap so it doesnt feel like you have a bunch of crap on your face.

their colors are nice and light, not overdone but are JUSt light enough so that you can tell its there. so gorgeous.

i use them all the time and you cant tell i'm wearing it it works so well. i'm not saying it doesnt show up

its just that it....enhances your natural beauty, you could say.

(i hate when ppl get so much on your eyes are just drawn to all their make-up.)

and gives you that extra little oopmf you need and a nice complexion. lol

    iiiii loveitloveitloveitloveit!
    Natural..

I would do brown mascara and eyeliner (unless of course your lashes are naturally blackk..)

and a soft shimmery champagne colored eyeshadow (applied lightly)

    No foundation or anything.
    go au nateral

    always the best way

    Natural look make-up?

I've never worn make-up before, but now that I'm going to job interviews, I'm starting to think it may be a good idea (to help make a good impression). I want to go for a natural look like the following pictures:

But I have no idea how to do, or what products to use...I think I am going to go to a department store and have a make-up person do it for me, but are there any lines you think may be better for this sort of thing/colors? Any suggestions? Thanks for your help!Natural look make-up?
I think that the 3rd picture is nice%26amp; looks very natural..

Use 1coat of mascara, and brown eyeshadows layering it and getting darker from top do bottom. And sheer lipgloss with a tint of pink :) Also, blush helps you to look freshhNatural look make-up?
Here I'll make it easy for you... Go to Ulta and get this....

    1. Pur Minerals foundation. AMAZING 4 in 1 mineral makeup that is killing bare essentials. Its only one step.

    2. Studio Gear blush in tea rose. Its a very natural color that looks great on all skin tones. It also stays on ALL day.

    3. Urban Decay 24/7 eye liner in Burbon. THE BEST.

    4. Bourjois Volume Glamor mascara. Its long lasting but you won't tear your lashes off when you want to take it off. Its a curling mascara.

    5. Any Bare Essentials lipstick. They just changed the formula and I love it. Lasts a long time and they come in very natural colors. Gloss is for jeans and flip flops; not interviews.

This will give you the natural look and will last you though the day.
Try a brown eyeshadow and brown eyeliner and black mascara!! those colors make u look very natural and wont make u look like a clown!!! u could also use a shimmery light pink!!! that would be very pretty as well...oh ya u might want to use some not to red blush but a light timt of red start applying at your cheek bone and brush up to your hair line...I hop this helps!!!
How to get natural look with makeup

    http://geethabeautytips.blogspot.com/200鈥?/a>
Well if u want u can do what they called flawless complexion these days, if your skin is pretty clear you dont need to use foundation for full coverage, just use concealer (creme, stick, liquid depending on ur skin type) and dot it on to spots (acne, freckles) to do this, choose concealer color that matches ur skin color, to brighten ur dark circles/ under eyes, u have to use lighter shade of concealer that the 1st one u use on ur face, just dot little amount and blend it well so that ur eyes dont look puffy. After that u just have to dust some loose powder to absorb the oil and set the concealer. Do ur brows by using clear mascara or tinted brow gel after u trimmed it. if you like u can use some bronzer using a big brush all over ur face, or just blush on on the apple of ur cheek to get a fresh look. For the eyes, u can use two tone of eyeshadow (taupe is one of the best color for day) apply the lighter shade over the entire eye and the darker one on the outer corner of ur eyes, if you want to be smokier, u can apply eyelined along the top lash line, curl ur eyelashes and put ur best mascara on. And for the lips, lipgloss would be enough (nude, pinkish shades are great) Have a nice interview =)
Please correct me here. Isn't natural being without makup?
If you want to go natural, you should definitely try Bare Minerals. Go to sephora and they will give you a demonstration. Bare Minerals is the best, great coverage without the cakey look and they have fabulous colors.
    1%26amp;2 is nice lol

    Natural Looking Make-Up?

Next week I have a dance competition.

I'm not sure if make-up is allowed but my skin need make-up to cover blemishes and spots. I would like a natural looking face using the items I have because I don't want to buy new things.

    I have :

    Foundation

    Shimmer Pearls

    Concealer

    Liquid Eyeliner

    Volume Mascara

    Pencil Eyeliner

    Peach Coloured Lipstick

    Plain Lipgloss

    Cream Eyeshadow

    Khaki Eye Mousse

    Foundation Brush

    Blush Brush

    Any Ideas ?Natural Looking Make-Up?
i think that you're better off either using make up or none at all.

in the short term, even though i know you don't want to buy more things, but buy some face masks (they don't cost much at all) and use them the night before, and you'll feel great. put on some face cream over night and give yourself a cold splash of water on the morning of your dance competition..

don't freak out over spots! the stress doesn't help. everyone has them. you might want to put a thin layer of foundation on if you really don't want them to show. x put on some lipsalve aswell, it's subtle but makes alot of difference. x

    good luck! xNatural Looking Make-Up?
If you have blemishes, try using your concealer. Dab a small amount in areas needed using your ring finger. Apply powder in your colour. Try MAC, they seem to have the best matches or L'Oreal, Truematch. Then apply blush in a soft pink, again I recommend MAC or Maybelline. Apply from the cheekbone in a curve (like a c) towards your ear (to keep it from looking like Heidi). I also recommend using a bronzer. Use one with a little bit of shimmer (maybe you can use your shimmer pearls), then apply on forehead and over cheekbones...but remember not to use to much...use sweeping motions. Then for lips go for your peach coloured lipstick. Don't forget mascara. From there if you really want to use gloss do so, but use enough to give it shimmer. Hope this helps!
Just use foundation and concealer to cover up your blemishes. Then, apply a beige-colored eyeshadow to your eyes. (Go all the way up to your brow bone). Then just use a peach colored lip gloss and voila! This is my normal makeup routine.
The best way to make it look natural is not to use so much on but enough to cover them up..the best kind of make up to use for that would be bare minerals..but since you dont want to buy anything just dont use very much it will still cover them up even if you dont think it does
wear foundation definitely and shimmer. I would stay away from liquid eyeliner for this event It is to dramatic. Wear pencil eyeliner and lip gloss. Also, definitely wear blush but not to much.

    Natural/school make up?

This year (I live in Australia so we're on hols) my school is gonna be really strict with make up, and no, I won't stop wearing it :)

So I need ideas for natural-ish make up.

    thanks :)Natural/school make up?
Welll this look is really pretty %26amp; natural :)

Once you wake up, brush your teeth and wash your face. Make sure you wash your face with a cleanser.

    Take a nice warm shower.

When you get out of the shower, pat your face dry with a CLEAN towel. Don't rub your face with the towel. That could cause serious damage to your skin.

Gently massage in a face moisturizer while your face is a little damp.

Apply foundation. The best kind of foundation to use is mineral powder so it won't clog your pores. You can also try other things, but always remember to wash them off by the time you go to bed - breakouts will wreck your look.

Apply blush or bronzer to your cheeks to highlight and add dimension.

Use a soft-colored eyeshadow for your eyes. You want your makeup to bring out your true beauty. Keep it simple and natural.

Curl your lashes with a lash curler.

Apply a natural-colored eye liner only if you really need it. Apply it lightly.

Apply mascara to your lashes. Use clear, brown or black, depending on your needs, but be careful with black mascara - it can look very stark on some people.

If your lips need color, gently blot on a little lipstick.

Apply a layer of lip gloss over the lipstick or your natural lips for a little color and shine. If that looks to gaudy on you, just use a moisturizing lip balm.

Touch up any areas you missed with your foundation, and blend it well along your jawline. If your face is now a different shade than your neck, brush a little bit of foundation down your neck.

Most guys don't like heavy makeup, so keep it very simple and very clean.

    Keep you eyebrows groomed!

It is important to look healthy. If have acne, buy a product to keep breaks-outs under control. Too pale? Get a little sun, but don't overdo it.

Find a face wash that works for your skin type. Not every face wash works for everyone.

You should only wash your face two times a day: in the morning and before you go to bed. If you wash your face too much, your face will get really dried out.

Keep your hair off of your face whenever you can to avoid making your face oily.

Avoid touching your face at all, the oil on your fingers will get on your face and make your face very greasy. Always, always, always wash your hands before touching your face.

Always use a new face cleanser for a few weeks before you decide if it works. Changing your face regimen may result in acne, so don't judge quickly.

Check your makeup in natural sunlight. Some bad mistakes girls make are too much rouge, globby mascara, dark lipliner, penciled eyebrows or overplucked eybrows, strange-colored eyeshadow or foundaton that is the wrong color - all because it looked fine in their crummy bathroom light.

Get good lighting. Natural light is often best so try to have a mirror next to your window in the bathroom. Your makeup will probably look better because of this.

If your Mom or big sister wear too much makeup it doesn't mean you have to. The natural look with good skin is so much pretter.

Don't feel that you need to wear make up...especially to school!

I am a makeup artist and my clients ask me how to a acheive a natural but glamorouse look with little effort

This is what I tell them ...

    1) It is very important that you start of with refreshed clean skin! So make sure to wash your face and apply a moisturizer with SPF.

    2) Apply a light weight mineral foundation

    3) Dap some liquid concealer under your eye lids and over any blemishes

    4) Apply some bronzer on the apples of your cheeks for a sun-kissed effect

    5) Dust some shear powder all over your face to set your makeup

    6) To keep it natural for your eyes just curl your lashes and put a few coats of mascara

    Hope I helped
i use concealer, powder, mascara, really light blush, and eyeliner. I don't wear black eyeliner. i wear a kind of light green cause my eyes are green and it brings out the color of my eyes and doesn't look like im wearing too much make up. also i curl my eyelashes and only put mascara on the outer lashes, which looks more natural. For my lips, I just wear a tinted chap stick/moisterizer. I hope I helped!
Well use a light blush and natural mascara like Lash Blast and get light eye liner but dont use too much!

use a lip gloss thats strong lasting but not that shiny because then, its not showing that you have makeup on and you wont get in trouble

    Good Luck! :)
Clear Mascara, Natural coverup/powder. No eyeliner. Neutral eyeshadow, and pinch your cheeks.
Try just concealer, foundation, and mascara, with blush and pale eyeshadow sometimes.
Eyeliner and mascara. Try some light blush. :)

  • Natural or Make Up?????

Anyone can awnser this : )

Do u go for a natural look or a make up face?

    Opinion questionNatural or Make Up?????
    Natural.

After all the 80's was crazy for clown faces.Natural or Make Up?????
I wish I could go natural but my skin is really bad.. im stuck in a rut because my makeup is probably what is making my skin bad, but I need to cover up my blemishes so I keep wearing it hahaha... I'm trying to wear less foundation now though.

Plus I have monolids and my eyes are not defined at all unless I wear eyemakeup.. so eye makeup is a must for me..
only 10% of women DONT wear makeup daily. I think it's totally up to you. If you feel more comfortable wearing makeup then do it, if not then dont wear it. It's all about how you feel in yoru own skin. Some day a guy will love you for who you are and not what is or isn't on your face because your should be confident in your own skin. If makeup helpes you feel that way then wear it. You know?
If you have to ask, that tells me that you like make up. Play up to your eyes with a more natural look, with mascara and a light shade of pink eye shadow which will bring out your eyes and a nude shade of lip gloss.Make up helps.
I like women that are natural. If they are naturally beautiful makeup will only enhance what they already have. If you ugly you ugly. Women who put on tons of makeup look cheap. If you do wear makeup use it sparingly.
99% of the time I'm natual. but when I'm going out to a nice event or sometimes when I get really dressed up for work I'll wear makeup. but I never cake it on. I only use a little eyeliner an some lip closs. MAYBE eye shadow it's I'm getting really dressed up.
I wear makeup but it's very natural and you can hardly tell i wear any. Powder, mascara, lip gloss or lipstick (sometimes both).
depends what mood i am in really, for casual wear i prefer natural with some tinted moisturiser and blusher if i am off out i prefer make up and more funky eye make up :D
it depends where i am, or where i am going.

if am at home or going shopping then its natural look, but if im going to a party or a wedding then make up.
Natural if possible. Having said that, I never go without makeup because I have things that really need to be corrected.
    i wear make-up

    wear the usual mascara.

then on your top eyelid add some

    eyeliner. not to much...

maybe put alittle eyeliner on the bottom.

    and ur good.(:Natural looking make-up...HELP!?
-well when applying foundation, do it in a stippling motion. meaning dab it on your face with the foundation brush in a circular motion, this keeps a natural airbrush effect.

-add highlighter to your cheeks, temples, bridge of the nose, and brow bone for a glow.

-using eyeliner like the top of the eyelid and winging it out a little.

    -add blush and lipgloss
You may want to try a nude color eye shadow to lightly color your eyelids. you can use mascara, and also a light colored pink blush to put some color in your cheeks. also, use a simple lip gloss, not a vibrant red lipstick. here are some examples:

get some neutrogena foundation. not sure what it's called but it's new and it's liquid. use like a brown or neutral color eyeshadow. get a brown eyeliner and go along the thin line on top of your bottom eyelashes. get a nude color blush, too. (:

    Natural looking make-up.?

What's the best natural-looking masscara, blush, and foundation?

    Please %26amp; thank you:]]Natural looking make-up.?
Mac make-up is great but expensiveNatural looking make-up.?
aveda...hands down, its all natural and SO GREAT

    aveda.com
I have just started using Mary Kay's Mineral Powder make up and it is a very nice foundation. I love it. It's great for your skin as well.

I like Cover Girl's mascaras the best ... they don't clump, smell too bad or smear and they work as advertised. You will have to choose whether you need/want volume or length.

Instead of blush, try bronzers for a natural look. They make you glow without being shiny, instead of adding artificial color to the cheeks.
    MAC is expenisve

    a cheaper brand

is Smackbox or ELF or Maybelline
i luv mac...... everything is amazing.... they hav natural stuf %26amp; outgoin stuf....... hav fun
foundation (i know cus i use it) bare minerals

    mascara- loreal telescopic (no clumps)

    blush- rimmel
Bare minerals. All their products are good for the skin too.
Bare minerals is really really great! I was a little sceptical at first but there products are fabulous! everyone saw a difference right away! My friends thought it looked great! Its light and i cant even tell that its there, but it covers up blemishes great. Try it you'll love it
go to clinic! my momma gets her foundation from clinic, it's oil free, and it's wonderful! It doesn't cover up my natural blush or my beauty marks, yet it blends my skin perfectly into a nice porcelain color. No one can ever tell I wear it, it doesn't smear, and their $20 bottle lasts about 8 months! It's really great stuff because it covers up messes while still allowing the glow from your natural illumination to show!
Depends on your skin type, as far as foundation goes. If you have oily skin, go for compressed powder. If you have dry skin, go for a liquid.

The basic mascara in the pink tube with the green top is always good.

    But I use clinique because my skin breaks out if I SAY ';covergirl.';

    www.lost.eu/741fd
please trust me on this i'm all about natural makeup...BARE MINERALS. please listen to me about it, it's amazing. screw mac and clinique and all that it's not natural and it will clog your pores (possibly causing acne)

the best mascara is great lash or revlon (dark brown is more natural looking than pure black)

blush and foundation from bare minerals. match the foundation to your skin, use warmth on your cheekbones and sheerly around your chin and forehead, then finish with mineral veil to make your skin glow looking healthy, natural, and blended.

if you listen to me i swear you won't regret it.

Guys, do you prefer a great looking natural girl or a girl that looks great in make up?

This may sound silly but I have seen naturally beautifull women who wear a lot of make up and still look great.

For you girls who came this far...

why wear make up if your allready pretty?Guys, do you prefer a great looking natural girl or a girl that looks great in make up?
Those ';natural'; girls just know how to wear their makeup right.Guys, do you prefer a great looking natural girl or a girl that looks great in make up?
i only wear makeup when i am going out like on a night with the girls to a club or some of the local shows i go to. and i wear makeup in pictures but other then that i don't wear makeup. makeup can make any girl look pretty but i like to be natural during the day and at school.

makeup is just for special occasions. (:
I wear makeup because I view makeup as an art form. I like playing with makeup, I like what makeup looks like. Some girls dye their hair crazy colours to express themselves, I wear makeup of all colours to express myself.

And I prefer a woman who wears what makes her comfortable and happy.
Most girls use make-up to enhance they're beautiful feautures and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Make-up is also considered an art, so when a girl has tons of make-up on (like scene or emo girls) its her way of expressing herself... her own form of art.
I think we still wear make-up because we never feel pretty enough, we have to prove it to ourselves before we believe other people will find us pretty too.
Make up makes us feel good about ourselves. And if you are natural make up will ';enhance'; your beauty.
    natural looking girl
Natural looking. Girls who cake on the makeup freak me out, I don't like clowns.

I dont like wearing make up i like the natural look but what make up could i wear that looks natural?

    mascara

    concealer

    blush

    etc

not all of those but like someI dont like wearing make up i like the natural look but what make up could i wear that looks natural?
it's not the makeup that determines if you look natural, its how you apply it, well except for mascara.

-buy mascara that separates your lashes well and doesn't clump. Lengthening mascara looks more natural than volumizing.

-Make sure concealer and foundation are the right color. Foundation should cover up blemishes while still looking like your real skin color.

-Concealer should be about 1 or 2 shades lighter than your real skin color .

-BLEND! make sure you can't see any streaks or different colors.

-If you buy powder foundation, don't pack it on so that it looks cakey.

-Be very light-handed with blush. It should be barely noticeable.I dont like wearing make up i like the natural look but what make up could i wear that looks natural?
Mascara - I use Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) in brown and when I only put a couple of coats on it looks fab and natural :) .. My lashes just get longer and a bit darker :)

Concealer - I use MAC concealer because they match it in store for you so you dont go out with the total wrong shade :)

Blush - For this I just use Number 7 stuff from boots because they have really natural colours so you dont look tangoed! :)

Also, when I dont want to wear much makeup then I use my Benefit tinted moisturiser because it makes you look like you have a lovely glow and it stays like that all day, its perfectttt ^_^ . Also, a little clear lipgloss can go a long way :) Finallyyyyy, drinking a lot of water flushes out the toxins from your skin to make you get less spots which is always a plus :D Good luckkk x
mineral make up is great! you can use it as a concealer and foundation, and its light. wear a brown mascara, so its not so bold and just a little bit of blush that makes you look like your glowing! But it all comes down to how you apply makeup. Hope that helps!
i sue Dinair Airbrush Makeup and it covers amazingly well and makes my skin look flawless but totally natural at the same time...if u just google Dinair you'll find their site and you can look at the pics on there. Hope tis helps...=)
    Clear mascara

Natrual eyeshadow colors (pink and brown work well)

    Chapstick

Hmm, that's all I can really think of. Just make sure your concealer matches your skin tone perfectly.
    that can help you :)

  • What are some natural ways to keep and have a clean face and do your make-up?

    Anything from the ';Lush'; stores.

What is a good natural looking way to do my eye-make up?

i have blue eyesWhat is a good natural looking way to do my eye-make up?
I have a friend that has blue eyes and i think her eyes look especially blue when she lines her top and bottom lashes with a dark chocolate brown color but smudges it a little on the bottom...also remember to not wear too much, a little goes a long way. then put a swipe of mascara (black/brown or black...whichever you prefer but black/brown would probably make your eyes pop even more). if you want to wear eyeshadow, i would say pick a taupe or gold color...i think that looks really nice on my friend and would probably look really nice on you too. hope this helps. What is a good natural looking way to do my eye-make up?
I have blue eyes too, there a couple of things you can do,

    1) Line the top of your eyes with a chocolate brown eyeliner and keep the bootom clean except for a shimmery highlight on the inner corners of the eye. Finish with black lengthing mascara on upper and lower lashes.

    2) use a bronze liner on the whole eye so your eyes look dewy, then use black mascara on both lashlines.

    3) you can use black but make sure it looks nice, use a black liquid liner only on the top lid close to that lashline then follow with black mascara
light brown eyeshadow and eyeliner close to the lashes
I have blue eyes also...its not that hard to make them stand out. i use a golden/copper eyeshadow (not too much) which gives a little shimmer. Also, I put on a non-clump mascara. I use brown eye-liner (only on the outside tip) to make my eyes rounder looking. Also, maybe go to a department store and ask a pro what will work best for you. You can also test lots of products to see what you like for your skin-tone.
my cousin has blue eyes too and when she wears bronze and golds they really pop! i read it somewhere its a good color for the eye color. good luck!
Maybelline makes a pretty matte mousse for eyes in a nude color, i put it all over my eye to the eyebrow and at the tear ducts...it just adds shimmer without any color really showing.

Sometimes if you want to go really natural just that and some mascara works, but to make your eyes pop a little add a light brown to the lid or a darker brown to the crease. Navy blue eyeliner also looks good at the outside edge of your eyes!

    GOODLUCK
smudge a teeny tiny bit of dark brown eyeliner into ur upper lashline like urban decay 24/7 in bourbon. the curl lashes with Revlon Cushion-grip lash curler. then swipe on dark brown or black/brown mascara like Covergirl Lashblast or Clinique naturally glossy mascara

    http://www.clinique.com/templates/produc鈥?/a>

    in jet brown
for really natural looking made up eyes

try a light beige-ish/ tannish eyeshadow all over your eyelids

and some dark brown eyeshadow to highlight the corners

    and dark dark brown mascara

Guys, do you prefer the natural look or make up?

Example...I wear just enough makeup...not too much, but enough that you can tell i'm wearing it. If i don't wear makeup, I look like I'm about 12.Guys, do you prefer the natural look or make up?
Natural; completely naked female body is best!Guys, do you prefer the natural look or make up?
i realize this question is for the guys but i think that guys when they say they like the natural look they mean not looking like you have a pound of makeup on but still wearing it.
    naturaal...
Natural, women look better like when they just wake up, they look beautiful.
My boyfriend has always told me that he hates it when any girl wears 2 much make up....he said that natural, hair in a pony tail and jeans and a T-Shirt are the best!!
    Natural l look
I think a little looks fine.
Au Natural baby...hairy legs and all...jk...

I like girls who don't wear too much make-up. Preferably something that won't rub off on my face when we hug.
The natural look is always best..guys can tell when a girl wears too much make up, and it makes them look stupid. The old saying is true: ';The best makeup makes you look like you're not wearing any.'; Like others have said, its good to wear just a lilttle to bring out whats already there, but not so much that you look like a clown.
depend on each woman, some look beautiful with or without make up..... but if you look good with make up then you should put it on
i prefer a small amount of make up, not overboard. its kinda like a man with too much muscle know what i mean?
Sounds purrrfect! Just enough -not over done. Just enough to make your eyes even prettier.
guys who answered before you r so sweet.
it depend on the girl. If she beautiful, she don't need make up. Otherwise, it's better to use it!
The natural look.. or very, very little.
    natural look..i dont like clowns
For you honey, a red head with freckles, I'd say no make up at all, you're stunning the way you are
Natural. If you do wear makeup, you look like a skinny pig rolling in colorful mud. Plus, makeup makes people kinda look like a whore. Every time that you try on makeup on your face, it just fades away. If it's permanent, then it can be compared to a permanent tattoo. Without makeup, you look more mature, innocent, and much CLEANER! Plus, makeup is expensive and they smear often in contact with water and other liquids. You can't sweat or they'll smear and drip down your face, you can't go swimming, you can't exercise, and you can't go to parties and dance without smearing your makeup. Even if it's permanent or long lasting, it makes you look like it's a tattoo and it does smear a little bit. You will waste your time applying makeup than having fun.
You get it !!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations. Make-up enhances the beauty that is already there. To much is a mask, makes you look unreal. j Use just enough to add a tad of color. you sound like a beautiful intelligent girl. Good Luck.
i'm a natural girl myself...just wear alittle powder and mascara so i don't look washed out....i was surprised by how many men perfer natuaral women...they're some sweet guys out there! Although you look thru a fasion mag and it's red lipstick and dark dark eyes...my bf said it looks scary to him...i'd rather follow a mans opionion then some of these fashion artists out there..lol

I'm 38 and want to know if it is still ok to wear makeup that shows like make up and not the natural look?

it's up to you. I mean if see you more look pretty when you wearing it, i don't know why you will stop. And also you still young. that's what i think.I'm 38 and want to know if it is still ok to wear makeup that shows like make up and not the natural look?
If it's not all matted, or looking like Rupaul, but the Natural look is in and for night time the smokey eye is in with a touch of lip color.I'm 38 and want to know if it is still ok to wear makeup that shows like make up and not the natural look?
Yes it is fine. You just need to find a look that works for you.
Whatever suits you. One day you can wear heavy make-up and the next day, you can try the natural look.
I think it just depends on where you're going. Like if you're going to work, maybe not. But if you're going out for the evening, then why not! As long as it doesn't look like you're trying too hard to be young, I think it's ok.
As long as you don't over do it, it should be fine. As long as you mean a little darker color lipstick, or a little more eyeshadow. Don't go heavy on the eyeliner or the foundation, and definately not on the blush.
I think so. I mean I wouldn't make it stand out too much because you don't want to look like a freshman in highschool. I think thats why older women prefer the more natural look. But adding some color never hurts! :)
yes of course. it is acceptable to wear make up that shows for as long as you want as long as your not plastering it on like pat busher (eastenders) like thick bright eye shadow, orange face from fountation.
id say natural is always good. but if you look good with noticeable make up, then why not? but since your not in 20s anymore id stay away from really vibrant stuff. especially if you have kids..

let me know if this helped, hoped it does. :)
Yeah of course everyone has different styles so just do what ever your comfotable with
of course ! look at Madonna, she still wears make-up and she's like 50 ! as long as your washing, moisturizing, and using anti-wrinkle, then i would think it would look fine !
    ya, y not! : )
Yeah as long as you dont wear it skanky! If you wear really really bright colors then no its NOT ok!
Debbie, it's better at this point in your life to accentuate your positive features rather than hide your beauty behind a mask of makeup. You have to use a skin-care regimen twice a day, everyday, or your makeup will just cake on your face and look badly applied; wash, tone and moisturize in the morning and night. Then, use foundation only in the places you need coverage, and concealer only on dark circles or blemishes. As far as makeup, use matte colors (neutrals aren't necessary) that flatter your coloring, line your eyes with shadow for a softer look and mascara. Lips are better off with a sheer lipstick or gloss that won't feather, and blush should be applied with a large blush brush (invest in makeup brushes!). You'll be beautiful.
sure it is if it makes you look hot.

What is the best way to concel blemishes and scars with make-up and look the most natural.?

Other questionsWhat is the best way to concel blemishes and scars with make-up and look the most natural.?
i use this fantastic Revlon Colorstay Active Light Make up, its a foundation and although it says light its actually breathable but covers 100% and doesn't come off during the day until you take it off. it wont clog your pores causing breakouts and you wont have to use a concealer and results look truly natural. give it a go, its worth it. good luck. What is the best way to concel blemishes and scars with make-up and look the most natural.?
    SDICK, YUCK.

you get a little bit darker powder it has to b a lil bit darker then your skin and you put it on you scars and stuff, and then rub it in to make it look natural.
I absolutely *LOVE* Bare Minerals - It took time to grow on me, but it really covers well and looks very natural... not powdery.
I use Bare Minerals it is awesome but it is also very pricey. I would use cover girl if I didn't have Bare Minerals.
Well I think the best way to make blemishes less obviouse is to avoid caking the make-

up on over them,,,instead make sure your face is clean ,,well moisturized before starting your make-up routine every morning. There is a cosmetic line called physicians formila! Its great you can purchase there magic cube make up,,in a tuny little clear plastic box,it comes in green,,,to mask any sort of redness, then you lightly dab your regular foundation over it!It works amazingly well! They also have other coulers used to hide the yellow in your skin,or under eyes bags.you can find the product im sure if you go to their website I have given you the direct link http://www.physiciansformula.com/detail_list.asp?itemid=03696

    its called magic cube concealer
go to jc pennys or macy and inside is like a stand or something name Cliniqe and find your color of foundation and its anti-allergic so u wont break out you should also try a skin care product called bye bye blemish it is a miracle and believe me u wont regret it its like $10 at your local drug store! good luck
    neutrogena

    http://www.neutrogena.com/CosmeticsDetails_157.asp?lProductLineID=4

works the best- i use it and it works great
Sometimes I mix some foundation with a tad of acne treatment, expecially Neutrogena. You might want to buy a foundation that's darker than you're skin, because when you mix it with the Neutrogena Acne stuff, it turns lighter because the acne treatment's white. Sometimes I use a Neutrogena Acne Treatment with Tint. It's kind of like the stuff I mix myself except already done.

You can also shrink pimples with Ice, but it takes a long time.
It takes time and practice with the right tones for your skin. I would recommend looking for a Mary Kay consultant in your area. Set up a consultation and she can help you look like a china doll. It is a combination of concealers and foundations that go with your skin tone and even out your complexion and a good skin care program. Go to www.marykay.com and click on the consultant locator. I hope everything works out for you.

Natural, all the way!ALL GUYS PLEASE ANSWER! Do guys like girl who where make up or show there natural beauty?
Most girls always believe that guys love the fake look (implants, gallons of makeup, bleached hair, fake extensions) BUT whenever a natural sexy girl comes along they forget all about the fakes.

Just see how many more guys love Jessica Alba and Jenna Haze and Eva Mendez over Pam Anderson and Jenna Jameson, haha.
Natural but a little make up wouldn't hurt.
A lot of guys prefer the natural look. They don't like girls looking like Oompa Loompas, yuck.

    Zombicidal Maniac.
I only wear makeup if I'm playing around with my camera, like taking sexy pictures, but on a daily basis I never wear makeup. I don't have acne so I can pull it off.
    Natural.

When I put make-up on it looks cakey. What can I do to make it look natural and smooth. I use bare minerals.?

try to not use as much, and maybe tapp the brush a couple more times before applyingWhen I put make-up on it looks cakey. What can I do to make it look natural and smooth. I use bare minerals.?
use macs strobe cream..gives u that jlo dewy lookWhen I put make-up on it looks cakey. What can I do to make it look natural and smooth. I use bare minerals.?
Use moisrurizer before you put your foundation on, but make sure it dries first. Cause if the moisturizer is wet when you put your foundation on, your foundation sinks into your skin or something. Also make sure you put moisterizer on at night, too %26amp; drink like 8 glasses of water or whatever.
put moisturizer on and make sure you wait 5-10 minutes to let it dry before putting on makeup if you put it one right after maybe thats whats making it look cakey.
If you are using the original Bare Escentuals, make sure your moisturizer is dry before applying anything else.
Use a foundation primer. Try Smashbox or MAC. Just make sure it dries first. And after you apply your foundation use MAC's Fix spray on top. Either spray it directly on your face or spray it on a makeup brush and apply.
ive actually found that, applying your make-up like eye shadow and foundation looks much better when you use your fingers. so its not as heavy on it.

after you put make up on, take a tissue and gently rub a little off.
A few things that WILL help with Bare Minerals application. Make sure your moisturizer and or primer is dry. Take a tissue and press it to your cheeks (they absorb the product slowest) and if it sticks you need more drying time. If if falls to the ground your good to go!!! Second you may be using too much product. A very small amount goes a super long way!! With a clean lid and no product above the sifter close the jar and tap it three times with the back end of your brush. That is usually the perfect amount for the entire face NEVER dip your brush into the product it will pick up too much. Make sure you are really buffing the product into the skin. My motto with that is once you think you have buffed enough buff a bit more. Most of the time these quick fixes can solve the problems most have with a B.E. product. Hope it helped lady.
Bare minerals is so overrated. Try the foundation stick from MAC and a pressed powder on top of that.
there is nothing that will look heavier than mac. and matte makeup will always look heavy. the key to looking smooth and natural is to use light reflectants and moisture. benefit has a primer called that gal that brightens and moonbeam will give you a fresh scrubbed look to your skin. also, their georgia finishing powder will take away shine without mattifying your skin.
use bare minerals primer and or the rever upper
try a foundation primer. i user MAC. its wonderful and makes your skin super smooth!
