To really bring out the green in your eyes, try a bright blue eyeliner. If you don't have one but have bright blue eyeshadow, you could use that by using the edge of a sponge-brush to draw the thin lines instead. Try to find light colors in sparkly eyeshadows - pinks, blues and greens. If it's too dark and sparkly as well, it will look excessive.
Try going to the makeup counters at a department store. They usually have makeup girls who will advise you on colours and also do your makeup there for free. That way you can see if it really works before buying.

Brown liner and mascara, purples, bronzes, coppers or gold can work for shadows. And you could play with shimmer or matte shadow.
Purples are the best color for green eyes!!!
