How do you make make up look natural?

I make makeup look natural by wearing only one thing on my eyes, one thing on my lips, and one thing on my face. How do you make make up look natural?
By applying it with light even layers. For the skin, if you apply foundation dont' cake it on. Apply very sheer layers and build up until you like the coverage. If you see streaking or spots or anything like that or if it's noticeable against your neck, then it isn't natural looking. It will look natural if someone has to ask themselves ';oh, is she wearing foundation? I'm not sure';. With blushes, the same thing. Apply it VERY lightly, don't make it noticeable to the point where someone looks at you and thinks clown haha.

With eye makeup, if you blend it properly and smooth the edges out, then it will look natural. You could even wear the brightest of colours, and if blended properly it will look beautiful. Don't apply 5 coats of mascara, just 1-2.How do you make make up look natural?
It would be easy if you tell me what your skin tone is..So, the most important technique is to stay close to your original tone. For example,

Your skin - just simply use a foundation which is the CLOSEST or SIMILAR to the tone of your face color. No powder since it's going more for the natural.

Eyes - the natural colors of course..i love light chocolate colours on my eyelids..you can try others like peach, pink..but make sure that it's not striking or bright. That's very important. Never go for unhuman colors on your eyelids! (eg yellow,blue,green...you'll get what i mean.) You can also use an eyeliner, which isn't very dark..slightly a shade darker than your lids. As for the lashes, curl them first if you have an eyelash curler. (i don't really like using them but it helps flatter more)Then here's the tip, when you are applying mascara especially for the top lashes, what you need to do is get any card and place it on your lids. By doing so, your lashes touch the card when you apply mascara. This prevents from any blotch of the mascara ruining your eyelids. Do the same technique on your lower lashes.

Lips - same tip. Stay close to your lip color. Maybe a light pink or red. Then, go for the transparent gloss. Be sure not to put too much coat. Just a little might help.

Eyebrows - use a brush to define your brows. I usually use dark brown..make sure your eyebrows are finely shaped (of course, not plucked all like a scared rabbit! you just need to neaten the hairs)

Lastly, blusher! This helps freshen your look.

Okay..I'm sorry if you didn't get it. But i was trying so hard to explain since i love natural makeup myself. And honestly, i'm not fishing for points here but i really, really wanted to help. There's probably some other 'natural' tips that i don't know that you might know..i just started learning all these art about make up. 'm a tomboy so it's a little hard...=)
You can try wearing a clear mascara, this will then lift your lashes without making them look to fake. Also use a foundation that matches your skintone exactly. If you use a blush make sure it is not too bright, a peachy pink is perfect.

Hope I helped.

Buy a natural foundation brand

Or wear brown mascara and keep bright colors away! Wear a nude shade of lip stick or lip gloss thats all I can say! Ooh And when you put foundation on put it on your neck as well other wise your left with those horrible lines!

Hope i Helped:)
Wear a foundation that suits your skin tone, not too dark as tempting as it seems. Don't overdo the eyes, maybe a bit of mascara to make them pop and a little clear lip gloss.
Nuetral colors that match your skin tone. Gloos, light on the liner maybe brown instead of black and some blush on the cheeks. Nothing dark natural colors.
just a little bit of mascara, usually try to match with your hair colour, don't clump.

maybe light eyeliner but not too dark

a clear /nude lipgloss/lipstick (;
make sure the make up isnt too dark or to light
bare naturals...great makeup!
